GEMSI exists to connect with marginalized Middle Eastern youth. Their newest project, Beit Al Atlas is a seven-bedroom multi-purpose home in Beirut, Lebanon. The house serves as an mentoring space, music education studio, provides business coaching, and venue space to host activities that range from yoga workshops, dance, film screenings as well as conversation potlucks. 

Young residents range from an Iraqis to transgender youth, Ethiopian migrant workers, to local street workers from Syria, and Lebanese students, as well as a Palestinians. The house is a safe space for community, some of whom are local disadvantaged youth and some of whom could be visitors coming to Beirut to contribute to the house. The house provides a stable income to support the inhabitants and their families.
